Right after graduation, he attended World University’s School of Dentistry. Before opening Keene Dental in 1994, he worked for free clinics and some of the finest practices in the District. He is part of the 123 Dental Association and stays up-to-date on the latest dental discoveries. A California native, she earned a B.A. in philosophy from California State University, Fresno, in 1975 and a J.D. from the Santa Barbara Colleges of Law in 1982. She has been an active member of the State Bar of California since 1982 and is licensed to practice before the United States Tax Court. In addition to her law practice, Mary Jane was a founding member Santa Barbara Women Lawyers and was Co-Founder of the Elder Law Section of Santa Barbara County Bar Association. She was honored by being appointed as the first Trustee Emeritus of the Santa Barbara and Ventura Colleges of Law after serving on the Board of Trustees and as Board Chair and President. Mary Jane is a member of the Santa Barbara Estate Planning Council. Mary Jane and her husband, Alan Miller, have three sons and six grandsons.
